Job Corps Director To Visit New Hampshire August 30

National Job Corps Director Dr. Esther Johnson will meet Governor John Lynch and the New Hampshire Job Corps Task Force during a visit to New Hampshire on August 30.

Dick Anagnost, Chair of the Task Force, said Dr. Johnson will discuss her "Vision for Job Corps" with the group that submitted a winning proposal for a 300 bed residential education and training facility in Manchester.

Dr. Johnson is leading a transformational change in the way Job Corps Centers operate and how Job Corps students are prepared for life and work in the 21st Century, said Michael Power, Task Force Director.

"I am very pleased that Dr. Johnson is coming to New Hampshire to discuss how our new Job Corps Training Academy will help the lives and careers of young people throughout New Hampshire," said Governor Lynch.
